DRØMMER (Dreams), with music by Anna Berg, has been selected for the main competition of the 2025 Berlinale (Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin). Taking place between 13–23 February, Berlinale is one of the largest public film festivals in the world, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.
Directed by Dag Johan Haugerud, DRØMMER forms part of the Sex Dreams Love trilogy which comprises three loosely connected stories that in different ways speak about the way we behave to achieve our inner longings. Since the 1950s, only 8 Norwegian films have been selected to compete in the program. Berg’s soundtrack is available to listen to on Spotify.

It’s a busy start to 2025 for Berg, who has just taken up the position of composer-in-residence at Kode Museums in Bergen. As the custodian of the homes of composers Edvard Grieg, Harald Sæverud, and Ole Bull, Kode plays a significant role in preserving a vital aspect of Norway's musical heritage.
The first weekend of the residency saw a performance of Twirling by clarinettist Christian Stene, as well as a panel discussion that asked ‘Are female composers still unfairly overlooked?’. On 16 March, Hehku Trio will present the world premiere of Berg’s Evigt (for soprano, cello and harp), inspired by a poem by Pär Lagerkvist (1891–1974).
